What is free login?
In free login zones you can always go online and work whenever you want, without booking your sessions in advance.
What does this mean for me?
After the introduction of free login, you can go online and work whenever you want. As you are used to, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 18:00 – 20:00 are the busiest times of the week. Of course, there will be orders throughout the day, but the number of orders and therefore your earnings will probably be higher during peaks: around lunchtime and dinner time throughout the week and the weekend. In the planner in the existing Rider App, you can see where you can earn extra per order in advance. Besides that, you can find incentives on the RooCommunity. These incentives will be added to your invoices after delivering the order(s).
Throughout the year we will also be adding new features to the Rider App that will give you even more information about the best times and places to work.

The frequently asked questions
You no longer need to book sessions in the Planner, but you can still use this feature to see where there will be extra earnings in advance.
Any sessions you have booked will disappear from the app shortly, but you can still work at those times if you want to. Just log in to start receiving orders.
To work in a free login zone, all you need to do is open the app when you are inside the login area, go online and start accepting orders. You can go online at any time during the zone’s opening hours without the need to book.
Free login means you can log in anywhere, anytime, so you no longer need to book sessions in advance. This means that the auto-bookings are not needed anymore.
The statistics will no longer affect your access to work in free login zones. In free login zones you can always go online and work whenever you want without booking sessions in advance.
We aim to achieve the best balance between the number of riders working in a city and the number of orders we expect. This is to ensure that you can deliver enough orders and so that the customer does not have to wait too long for his/her order. If we see that customers have to wait too long for their orders during the busiest times (Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 18.00 – 20.00), we may onboard new riders.
We carefully monitor the number of riders that are online and delivering orders at different times to help us decide how many new riders we need to onboard. This allows us to make sure we have enough riders on the road, but also helps us to avoid onboarding too many new riders at once.
You will also be able to take advantage of extra earnings when they are available. Check the Planner to see where there will be extra earnings in advance.
We are always looking to improve the experience of riders who choose to work with us. A frequent point of feedback from riders is more flexibility and choice over when you choose to work. We believe that introducing free login will provide this flexibility as you no longer need to book sessions in advance.
